"I like being able to help people feel better and more relaxed," says Emily Viola, massage therapy student. "My favorite part of the program is seeing how much I've learned over the past few months in a short-term program."
Emily believes NCC's massage therapy program is giving her experiences that will prove invaluable when she enters the working world. "Our professor, Sallie Urffer, brings in a variety of people so that we can work with: someone who is pregnant or someone who has scoliosis."
She's also learning how muscles impact all aspects of people's lives. "People do not realize how much muscles can affect our bodies. When they don't work properly, they can affect our posture and cause strain."
