Big Wins at ADDY Awards
Northampton Community College (NCC) communication design students and faculty won recognition for their creative work in the 2015 American Advertising Federation competition, the ADDYs. The students and other winners were honored at the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club's awards dinner on March 6.
The ADDY is one of the largest advertising competitions in the world and one of the industry's most prestigious contests. It has been said that the ADDYs are to advertising what the Oscars are to movies.
NCC faculty and students who won Gold ADDY Awards include Dave Meyers, Sean Tierney, Lucas Shuck, Kenny Colodonato, and Jason Zulli, assistant professor of art.
Silver awards went to Patricia Stanton; Traci Anfuso-Young, adjunct instructor; Tracy Laurie-Lakhram; Emily Evans; Joel Benitez, and Joshua Brown.
Colodonato won two gold awards. More NCC students won awards than students from any other college.
Instructors with students in the exhibit included Traci Anfuso-Young, Gayle Hendricks, Dannel MacIlwraith, and Jason Zulli.
