Look at These New Academic Programs
With the introduction of new majors in applied psychology and global studies, Northampton Community College students can explore world cultures and help individuals with special needs. The new programs are:
Applied Psychology offers a liberal arts education leading to an associate degree focused on counseling and human services. The program prepares graduates to transfer to a four-year school or work in local organizations with a behavioral health or human services purpose. This program will begin to be offered in fall 2015.
Global Studies offers a liberal arts education focused on international relations, area studies and/or the environment, with a choice of cultural experiences and languages. It prepares students to transfer to a four-year institution or work in local businesses with a global reach. This program will be offered beginning in fall 2015.
