Eat a Pie, Throw a Pie

NCC Psychology Club raises money for autism charities

Psychology Club President Annisa Amatul MuqtadirWhether you enjoy eating them or throwing them at a favorite faculty or staff member, the Northampton Community College Psychology Club's "Eat a Pie, Throw a Pie" fundraising event was entertaining. On April 27, brave faculty members including Jeff Armstrong, Matt Bartholomew, Mark Henry and Bill Mutimer lined up as targets for shaving cream pies. Pies made of actual food were for sale, as well as t-shirts and wristbands.

The Psychology Club will be participating in the Autism Speaks walk on April 29, and in the Live, Learn and Play Superhero 5K this summer.  Proceeds from the pie will be donated to Autism Speaks and Live, Learn and Play. Proceeds raised from the pie event will be donated to these two organizations.
