Pillar 01

Student Experience

Designing a compelling student experience that instills confidence and success.

The student experience at NCC has a significant impact on the academic achievement, emotional health, and personal development of our learners. It is in fact a key to their success. Studies have shown that college students who feel more involved, connected, and supported at their institution do better academically and have higher levels of personal well-being.

Goal

A student experience that is engaging, streamlined and accommodating of all students that enables success at the college and in the workplace.

Key Initiatives

  • increase investments in student life programming, providing more opportunities for engagement, leadership development and job skills training to prepare students for growth and success.

  • make NCC the region’s preferred institution for adult learners, providing the customized services, modalities, learning options and training programs to enable their personal growth and professional success.
