How to Apply for Campus Housing

For students to be eligible to live on campus, they need to be registered for a minimum of 9 credits each semester. In addition, to maintain their eligibility to reside on campus each semester, residents must meet the academic standards outlined in the Residence Hall Handbook.

Follow the steps below to be accepted into NCC's on-campus housing today.

Housing Application Process & Offers

In order to apply for housing, you must be an admitted student at the college. If you need help applying, use our Enrollment Checklist as your guide to getting enrolled.plu

The application is easy and only takes a few minutes. As part of the application, you will need to pay a $225 housing application and deposit fee using a credit/debit card. See Refund Policy below regarding the deposit.

Housing Application

Students should immediately apply for financial aid by filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Information is availabe on the Financial Aid webpage.

A Housing Health Form should be completed as soon as possible once a student is offered housing. The Health Form is a requirement to live on-campus and must be uploaded to the student's MyRecordTracker account to be reviewed. Click Here to download the Housing Health Form.

Applications will be considered only after the $225 application and deposit fee has been submitted.  The Office of Housing and Residence Life will evaluate housing applications and offer housing contracts contingent on the date and time the housing application is received and an on-campus housing disciplinary check form showing little to no disciplinary history.

  • Fall Applicants - $200 deposit is refundable until July 1 once a housing contract is signed.
  • Spring Applicants - $200 deposit is non-refundable after a contract is signed (this is due to less timing before the semester starts).
