Accessibility Statement

The  NCC Accessibility of Information Policy  defines the accessibility requirements for college websites and related web content. This policy requires our website pages to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)  at Conformance Level AA.

Our goal is to provide all students with the tools they need to access and maximize their educational opportunities. We strive to promote and facilitate barrier-free environments that provide equal access to the educational experience.

As an equal opportunity educator and employer, and in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Northampton Community College is committed to the implementation of this policy so that all individuals have access to information technology associated with administration and services, courses of instruction, departmental programs, and college-sponsored activities. Northampton Community College is dedicated to the World Wide Web Consortium's standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the practice of Universal Design in Education.

Content that Northampton Community College has created that is not fully accessible to individuals with disabilities can be reported to the Inaccessible Digital Content Report Form . Reports can be made anonymously or with an email and/or NCC ID attached. Reports including contact information will be easier for our Accessibility Resource Center and Web Management teams to resolve the problem.
