Gilbert K. Greene began teaching at NCC in 2001, after retiring with 32 years of service at Victaulic Company. His teaching specialty is Genealogy and Family History (Main Campus). He has done genealogy research for over 35 years and authored six books on his own family branches. He lectures at many genealogy and history venues.
He is founder and President of Delaware & Lehigh Valley's Genealogy Club and founder of Highlands History Club. He was a 35-year volunteer for The Family YMCA of Easton & Phillipsburg, Board member and Board President in the 1990s. He formerly chaired several planning boards; played, coached and refereed basketball for many years. He is a graduate of Adelphi College (now University) in New York.
Class and teaching goals are to develop students' family research capabilities in a relaxed and shared experience environment, while exploring the many internet and repository resources available.
