Transferring After NCC

At NCC, you’ll get the same high-quality education, but at a fraction of the cost. On average, starting your college education at NCC can save you up to $40,000 per year compared to local four year schools. We also have one of the most successful community college transfer programs in Pennsylvania, and over 100 signed transfer agreements with four-year colleges and universities across the country. Because of these agreements and our reputation for academic integrity, transferring your credits to an approved four-year school is efficient, convenient and cost-effective. In order to transfer credits, students are required to have earned Cs or higher in the individual course. While Northampton reviews each request on a case-by-case basis, our transfer agreements help simplify and streamline the process.

Transferring Into NCC

If you want to transfer from your current school or complete a degree that you started elsewhere, bring your credits to NCC. We’ll apply them to the program that’s right for you.

Transferring your credits from any regionally accredited* college or university is easy. After receiving an official transcript, we’ll transfer credits for classes that are equivalent and applicable to your NCC program and have a grade of C or better. We can transfer up to 45 of your credits toward any certificate, diploma or degree program.

If you’ve already earned a bachelor’s degree but are considering changing careers, enhancing your skill set or looking to complement your degree, you won’t have to repeat general education courses when you transfer to NCC.

To learn more about the process, contact our Admissions Team today!

*Credits from non-regionally accredited schools will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
