A retired dancer Lisa returned to school and continued her late father's heritage as a scientist.
While at NCC, she did exciting research, some of it in a joint NCC/Lehigh University program.
Lisa also did an industrial biotechnology project on building a company.
She is now a graduate student at Lehigh University and hopes to complete her master's or Ph.D. in bioengineering. Biotechnology has many applications, Lisa explains, including healthcare, pharmacy, and food and fuel production.
"I found a home at NCC. It is a wonderful school where everyone can start on a new path," she says.
