Father and Daughter Graduate Together from NCC's Nursing Program

A dream realized

Jamie and Erica CernobylThirty graduates of Northampton Community College's (NCC) registered nursing program received their nursing pins on May 26.  Among them were Jamie and Erica Cernobyl, a father and daughter who enrolled in the program together. Jamie fulfilled a lifelong dream when he learned of his daughter's plans to become a nurse. Watch a video interview with the Cernobyls on WFMZ. 

NCC's nursing graduates, including the Cernobyls, will now sit for their state boards.  Last year, graduates of Northampton Community College's registered nursing program achieved the highest pass rate on state boards of all of the associate degree nursing programs in the state.
