Quadfest 2017!

NCC Students Welcome to Quadfest 2017!

Mia Rossi,

As you approached the Quad this morning on Bethlehem's campus, you could hear the resounding boom of music starting off the party that NCC students enjoy every year. People came outside in the beautiful weather to welcome international students, new students and returning students to the beginning of what everyone feels will be a very successful 2017-2018 school year!

Did you get a piece of the pie this year at the pie eating contest? If not, maybe you got a chance to joust against a friend or two. Students, and some staff, were running the obstacle course...and the competition was fierce! If adventure was more your thing, there was a rock wall set up that many students climbed with ease (hopefully a metaphor for how well they will do in their college studies this year!)

Hot dogs, slushies and pretzel bites were just some of the treats students enjoyed under the sun, and of course, there were lots of giveaways from all of the student clubs and organizations set up throughout the event. Alumni, along with TOBOR, the robotic dinosaur, even came back to cheer on new students.

Whether you were dancing, hula-hooping or completing one of the fun activities, Quadfest this year certainly made for an unforgettable afternoon that will kick start a wonderful year at NCC.
