Hackers are Welcome Here

April 02, 2013

On the weekend of April 6, Northampton Community College (NCC) will host the Lehigh Valley's second "Hackathon" -- a two-day marathon in which some of the area's most gifted computer programmers and developers will compete to see who can come up with innovative apps, computer programs and gadgets that could change your life - for the better.  Several NCC communication design and computer science students will participate along with Assistant Professor of Art Jason Zulli.  You can see what they come up with during presentations at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at Northampton's Fowler Family Southside Center at 511 East Third Street in Bethlehem.  Read more about the Hackathon in this article  by Scott Kraus of The Morning Call.
