Hear from staff and students who are eager to welcome and introduce you to the Northampton community!

12:40 - 1:20 pm - Discover your Involvement
Your college experience will be enhanced by getting engaged! In this session, you'll learn about the Spartan Experience, Student Life, and Leadership Development.

1:30 - 2:50 pm - Who am I at NCC & Academic Basics 
Personal journeys inspire career choices and direction. This session will provide you with an opportunity to explore who you are as a NCC student, your connection to your academic pathway, and how to achieve academic success.

3:00 pm - Navigating NCC & Course Registration
Learn how to navigate MyNCC, the web portal where you register for classes, access academic records, and student email. Chat with faculty and advisors as you explore your English and math placement, review your program map, and register for classes.

5:00 - 6:00 pm - Residence Hall Commons Tours (Optional at Bethlehem Campus)

12:40 - 1:35 pm - Setting Up Your Student for Success
Family support is crucial to student success. Sedgwick Harris, Vice President of Student Affairs & Enrollment Services, will teach you about campus resources and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

1:45 - 2:35 pm - Academic Expectations and Your Student
A panel of deans, professors, and support staff will introduce you to the academic expectations of college and resources to help your student excel.

From 2:45 to 3:15 and 3:20 to 3:50 families have the chance to learn more about different services on campus for our students. Topics are listed below.

Financial Aid and Student Accounts
Learn about the financial aid application process, academic requirements that impact financial aid, payment plans, and MyNCC, the online student portal.
