Suicide Prevention Program
Suicidal thoughts are common. Suicide threats and attempts are less common, but much more frequent than most people realize. Suicide is the most common psychiatric emergency and a leading cause of death in America and around the world.
The Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Program teaches the 3 simple steps (Question, Persuade & Refer) anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day, CBI - Healthcare Education will be offering free sessions of the Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper program in September.

Parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, ministers, doctors, nurses, office supervisors, squad leaders, foremen, police officers, advisors, caseworkers, firefighters, and many others who are strategically positioned to recognize and refer someone at risk of suicide.
