Charles Hudak started teaching in 2007 on South Campus, Fowler Center, and continuing Adult education. He teaches a whisky appreciation course with the goal of the class being for the students to realize why this spirit tastes the way it does. There is a basic course offering with advance seminars going into more details about the regions of Scotland and their characteristics.
Currently Charles belongs to numerous whisky distillery groups, offering newsletters and special events. He has been a mixologist in the past and this led him to specialize in Scotch whisky. Slainte in Gaelic means "to your good health".
