She has been drawing since early childhood, and later studied painting with the late Jim Hunt at his Little York studio in New Jersey. In the 1990's, she enrolled in the Fine Arts Program at NCC and continued her art studies there. She is a member of the Arts Community of Easton and displays her work in their spring and fall shows. She also participates is shows at St. John's Gallery, and has exhibited work at the J Lima Gallery, NCC, and various other locales in the area.

As an art teacher, she believes in taking students at their current stage of development and helping them to move onto the next level, and the next, and the next. She takes a great deal of pleasure in watching her students develop over the years.
