Lori Hertzog made her first doll outfit at the age of seven while visiting her grandmother and the rest is history. She was hooked. Lori has a passion for textiles and fibers, and never stops thinking of designs to create. Her inspiration comes from the world around her, textiles, colors and patterns.
Lori has been teaching sewing at NCC's Fab Lab since 2010, and has led her students to create many wonderful projects using a variety of sewing techniques to add to their bag of tricks, such as: hidden seams, French seams, machine embroidery, lining techniques, etc. Lori is a past member and president of the Lehigh Valley Couturiere Society. She has altered ready-made clothing and bridals for friends and family for many years.
Her philosophy for learning is there are no mistakes - just opportunities to create.
