Paul Reitmeir began teaching at the main campus in 1987. Since then, he has concentrated on various music classes, i.e., opera, composers, Russian Music.
He began his career many years ago by teaching youngsters trumpet, piano and other instruments. He continued his music education in the early 1980's in Florida and Arizona concentrating on composition and personal study.
He attended NCC in the 1970's, and graduated in 1979 with a Liberal Arts degree and Certificate of Photography degree. He was the first student to deliver the commencement address. Paul was also very involved with advocacy for people with disabilities which continues to this day. Music is a passion. Paul loves the arts, film, theater, photography, good conversation, friends, learning, card and board games - life in general. And yes, Pink Floyd !
He loves to share his knowledge with his students, perhaps introducing them to a new world.
