Woodcrafter, Robert Blum, is a self-professed wood-aholic. He searches out beautiful exotic tropical woods and has developed an impressive collection for his students to utilize. He has been crafting fine woodworking objects for over 25 years. His specialty is jewelry boxes, humidors, and small craft items. He encourages individual creativity so that the student's final creation is a one of a kind object and develops their mastery of the state of the art tools and machinery at the amazing NCC Fab Lab.

Robert has been a Lehigh Valley resident for only three years having retired from directing a successful Philadelphia company that designed and manufactured high end upholstery fabrics. Prior to that, he was a Deputy District Attorney in San Diego, California. He has pursued his love of woodworking and encourages students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the incredible medium with which they are interacting.
