Because math is everywhere, a solid understanding of math is critical to education and career. Comprehension of mathematics is also one of the cornerstone general requirements for those seeking a degree. Students in the program will also learn how math and science principles apply to the world by being taught to see past numbers and formulas.

Program majors explore computer science, calculus, physics and English, with both a physics and math option available for the final 12 credits. The physics option consists of general chemistry courses, while the math option gives students the ability to choose from available electives. Those with a background in math and science can expect to find employment in business, industry, government, fields of research, higher education, private industry, laboratories and more.
