Title IX covers everyone, male or female, at Northampton Community College because we receive federal funding.

What does Title IX apply to?

Athletics is the highest profile area in regards to the application of Title IX. However, simply put, Title IX applies to every aspect of the institution. From admissions to access, student status and records, course and program development and offerings.

What does Title IX cover?

Title IX covers sexual harassment and discrimination. It benefits everyone in that the law requires us to maintain an institution that does not discriminate against anyone on the basis of gender.
