I began teaching for NCC's Horizons for Youth program at the Main Campus in the summer of 2016. I teach a variety of classes with a focus on nature, science, and exploration. I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University and am a substitute teacher in Bangor and Pen Argyl School Districts. I volunteer in the community for many science related activities and have been a volunteer club leader for an entomology (insect) club since 2008. My favorite past-times are traveling, gardening, mountain bicycling, skiing, geology, reading, crafting, and sewing. I enjoy being a part of children's lives and encouraging them to use their natural curiosity to discover and learn about the world around them.
