David Oren will be teaching baking and dessert classes in the fall 2014 and spring 2015 semesters at both Main and Monroe campuses. These courses are part of the Home Cook Enthusiast Certificate Series and he couldn't be more happy and supportive in students' endeavors in learning about this worldly craft.
He has received training and education in various areas of the food industry and graduated from the Culinary Institute of American in Hyde Park, NY in 1998 and 1999, both in culinary arts and in baking and pastry. In his spare time, besides being a husband and father of two beautiful children, Dave truly enjoys being outdoors and being crazy with his kids. His philosophy of teaching is to give a brief insight to the opportunities to have endless fun and creativity while learning to eat and share knowledge!
