Regina Rooney

Regina Rooney has taught all levels of non-credit French at NCC's Bethlehem Campus since 2011 after retiring from the Quakertown Community School District where she taught French and Spanish. She earned her BA at Millersville University and holds a diploma from the Institut des Etudiants Etrangers of the Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France. She also studied Italian at Middlebury College, Vermont and earned a diploma from the Università per Stranieri in Siena, Italy.

She is the organizer of the Lehigh Valley French Connection, a Meetup group for Francophones who want to practice their French twice a month and she also participates in Spanish and Italian conversation groups.

Regina and her husband travel to a different region of France every year, so she can give practical advice to her students who are planning a trip there.
