Nykolai Blichar, He/They
Nykolai is a passionate advocate and community leader in the Lehigh Valley and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student Life & Leadership Development at Northampton Community College. Nykolai is an alum of Kutztown University where he obtained his B.A. in Political Science and M.Ed. in Student Affairs. In his free time he is Chair of the Allentown Human Relations Commission, spends time with his husband and dog, is an active Pokemon fan, and engages in local politics and activism around LGBTQIA rights.

Geraldine "Gerri" Bunnion O'Dowd
Gerri O’Dowed was born in London and raised in Ireland before emigrating to the United States in 1987. She has been a member of the NCC community for almost 20 years and currently serves as the Coordinator for Science Tutoring in the Learning Center. Gerri was exposed to TED talks when she first watched Amy Cuddy’s "Fake it till you make it" presentation. Gerri is a firm believer that we have more in common than what divides us and enjoys talking to people to learn more about them and build connections. She enjoys reading, knitting, hiking, and cycling. We are thrilled to have her join us as the MC and host for our TEDxNorthampton Community College event.
