Cyrus is all legs and has yet to master the art of changing directions without falling!
Your name: Donna Cardascia
Job title/department: Bursar's Office
What kind of pet do you have (dog, cat, bird, etc.)? Dog
What is your pet’s name? Cyrus
How did you come up with this name? My son named him. I think he drew names out of a hat.
How old is your pet? 10
What is your pet’s gender? Male
Describe your pet in three words: Goofy, lovable, uncoordinated.
What is the thing your pet cannot live without? His people.
Can your pet do tricks? If so, what? The usual -- sit, paw, lay down.
What is the best trick your pet has taught you? To give biscuits on demand.
Do you have a nickname for your pet? Baby Cy
You know your pet is in a good mood when he/she does this: Gives kisses.
Your pet’s favorite spot to hangout is: Anywhere I am.
Favorite toy: His stuffed squirrel -- although he'd rather have a real one
One habit you would like to change: His twice a year molting.
Does your pet prefer to play with people, or other animals? People -- other animals are not his thing
Does your pet like children? Yes
If you could ask your pet one question and they’d be able to answer it, what would it be? What did those squirrels ever do to you?
Can your pet read your emotions? Yes -- when I'm upset about something he makes sure to come over and give kisses
Funniest moment you’ve had with your pet: Cyrus is 120 pounds and all legs. If he has to change directions to follow me or if he hears something outside, his legs get out from under him and he splats out on the floor. Then he looks at me like he meant to do that!
What is the most rewarding aspect of owning your pet? Like everyone else -- it's the unconditional love.
If you want to see YOUR pet in the spotlight, fill out the form and be sure to send a photo or two!
