NCC lineworker class graduates
Northampton Community College’s (NCC) lineworker program prepares students for entry level work in the electrical or telecommunications industries. Qualified workers in this field are in-demand, and the industry just got a boost with 17 new NCC grads to fill those roles!
The largest graduating class to date, the newly trained lineworkers are poised for successful job placements in companies such as PPL, UGI, RCN, Service Electric, Asplundt, and more.
“These jobs provide family-sustaining wages with great opportunity for overtime and advancement,” says Lauren Loeffler, NCC vice president of workforce development and community engagement.
More than sixty family and friends came to the ceremony to cheer on their graduates.
