Entrepreneurial Mindset (ENTR101)
Starting fall 2019 this 3 credit hour interdisciplinary course will help students understand what it takes to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and skills. The course is ideal for students who want to work on an idea they may have. Students enrolled in this course will also learn the basics of design thinking and how they can use design thinking to solve problems. In addition, students will develop personal skills such as; self-efficacy, resourcefulness, grit, leadership, persistency and opportunity recognition.
The course does not require any pre-requisites and you can take this course regardless of your major. The course is also transferable to Temple, ESU, Penn State and Moravian. High school students are also eligible to take this course as dual enrollment students. Small Business Management Diploma
This non-credit diploma can be completed in 16 weeks and is ideal for individuals either in business or looking to start one. Courses in the diploma are focused on the nuts and bolts of financing, marketing, recruiting and product development that affects almost all small businesses or startups. The diploma will help you either build your existing business or start a new one that you have been thinking for a while. Each course is 8 weeks long. Courses are offered in a hybrid format where most of the content is online and there is once a week face to face interaction with the instructors.
