Program Narrative
Northampton's Chemistry program prepares you for transfer to a four-year college or university by providing the equivalent of the first two years of a baccalaureate program in Chemistry.
Program Features
The College has several articulation agreements in place, which allow you concurrent admission to Northampton and a receiving four-year institution. Another option some graduates have chosen is to enter the job market upon completion of their two-year degree.
Program Requirements
While there are no special admissions requirements for the Chemistry program, certain courses in the program require a background in English, algebra, and chemistry. If you are lacking background in these areas, you should acquire it during the summer preceding your first semester. Northampton's admissions and counseling staff is available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your enrollment into this program.
To be sure that all of your credits will transfer and that your course selections fit into your long-range plans, you should meet regularly with your academic advisor and consider carefully the requirements of the four-year institution you plan to attend.
Courses in this program are offered primarily during the day.
