Service Learning

Service learning is a course based service experience designed to enhance traditional classroom instruction. It allows the student to participate in service activities that meet community needs and at the same time provide reflection opportunities in order to gain further understanding of course content, as well as foster civic engagement.

NCC has a strong commitment to civic engagement and encourages, faculty, staff, and students to become involved in their surrounding communities. Through service learning, faculty and students combine to bring civic awareness to a new level at NCC.
