Continuing Education for Professionals and Paraprofessionals

The Center for Business & Industry - Healthcare Education provides accredited continuing education for nurses, early childhood educators, first responders/EMTs, employees in the healthcare food service industry and personal care home administrators. We are an approved provider for continuing education contact hours that satisfy ACT 58 license requirements. We also offer re-activation and review programs for RNs and LPNs who have been out of the field.

Personal Care Home

The Center for Business & Industry - Healthcare Education has continuing education classes in Personal Care home, as well as a Personal Care Home Administrator program.

CPR/First Aid

The Center for Business & Industry - Healthcare Education offers courses in the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Heartsaver CPR and AED. Early Childhood Educator Professional Development

As a collaborative partner with the Early Childhood Education Linkage System (ECELS/Healthy Child Care Pennsylvania), the Center for Business & Industry - Healthcare Education provides health professionals with consultation, training and technical assistance to improve early childhood education programs within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
