The NCC tennis team captured the 2010 Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association (PCAA) championship on Saturday, April 24, at the Hillcrest Racquet Club.
Adrienne Nenow and Ashley Bennett led the way for the Spartans, winning the PCAA doubles championship, 6-0, 6-2 over Delaware County Community College.
Nenow and Bennett both advanced to the women's single championship, where the teammates faced each other for the first time, with Nenow winning the PCAA singles title, 6-0, 6-2.
The loss in the singles championship match was the first of the season for Bennett in either singles or doubles, while Nenow finished the year undefeated in both.
On the men's side, Bryan Silk and Eric Knauss advanced to the semifinals of the doubles competition, before falling 5-7, 7-6, 6-3 to Delaware County.
Nenow and Bennett were both named All-Conference and All-State.
