Students planning to attend Northampton Community College and their parents are invited to attend an orientation day to help them make a successful transition from high school to college. In addition to meeting with their academic advisor to plan their course schedule and registering for classes, during orientation students will learn about student clubs and organizations, get the scoop on many valuable services that are available to students free of charge, and pick up their photo IDs.
Orientation programs will be held at Main Campus, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Township on May 20, June 10, June 15, June 16, June 17, June 28, June 29 and June 30.
Programs at the Monroe campus, 3 Old Mill Road, Tannersville, will be held on June 22, June 23, June 24, July 13, July 14 and July 15.
Students are advised to attend an orientation on the campus where they will take most of their courses. An online grid lists when orientation days for various majors are scheduled. Please visit the New Student Orientation page for further information, including placement testing information, and to RSVP online for an orientation session.
Check-in is from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. Check-in will be in the Student Enrollment Center for Bethlehem (recommended parking is in Lot A) and the Enrollment Office in Monroe. Each program is scheduled to run from 12:30 p.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. Sandwiches and refreshments will be served at the end of the program.
