Northampton Community College awards degrees, certificates, and specialized diplomas three times throughout the year: May, August, and December.

Check Your Degree Progress via MyNCC
Are you unsure of whether you are on track to meet your graduation goal? You can review your progress towards completion of your program requirements, by logging into MyNCC and selecting Degree Progress. After checking your status, you can contact your academic advisor with any concerns or questions you might have.

Apply for Graduation

• An Application for Graduation must be completed for each degree, certificate or specialized diploma that you plan to earn from Northampton Community College. Even if you do not plan to participate in a commencement ceremony, you must complete a graduation application to receive your diploma.
• Complete the application one semester prior to your anticipated graduation (i.e. complete the application during the fall semester if you plan to graduate in May).
• Submit the Application for Graduation form to the Main Campus Records Office or the Monroe Campus Enrollment Office.

Commencement Ceremonies
All of your hard work has paid off - now it's time to walk across the stage of the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center and claim the title of Graduate.

Northampton holds two commencement ceremonies. August and December graduates are invited to participate in the Winter Commencement ceremony held in late-January. May graduates are invited to participate in the May Commencement ceremony.

More information about the ceremony is sent in the fall to August graduates and December graduation applicants and in the spring to May graduation applicants.

Getting Your Diploma
A diploma isn't just a piece of paper - it represents all of your efforts and accomplishments. Here's how you get yours:

• For May graduates, diplomas are available to pick-up after the commencement ceremony or at the Records Office - Main Campus beginning the Tuesday after the ceremony.
• For August graduates, diplomas should be available in late September to pick-up at the Records Office.
• For December graduates, diplomas are available to pick-up after the commencement ceremony or at the Records Office - Main Campus beginning the Tuesday after the ceremony.
• Photo ID is required when picking up your diploma at the Records Office.
