The 60-credit Accounting program at NCC supports the region's continuous need for financial professionals qualified to start in a junior accountant position upon program completion. Accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), the Accounting program teaches standards of professionalism and understanding of legal and moral principles in addition to the specific accounting concepts and skills needed to begin a successful career.
NCC graduates may pursue a four-year degree at a cooperative institution, opening up further possibilities for career advancement. In addition, a specialized diploma is available for candidates who have any four-year degree and want to begin meeting the educational requirements for the Pennsylvania Certified Public Accountants Examination.
