Physics is a science that deals with matter, energy and their interactions. It encompasses the fields of acoustics, mechanics, optics, heat, electricity, magnetism, radiation, atomic structure and nuclear phenomena.
The NCC physics program grounded in math and the sciences, helps students progress to four-year programs with a well-rounded understanding of principles and their applications, computer skills and both the conceptual and quantitative abilities needed for problem solving. Sixty credits, the associate in science degree emphasizes proficiency in math, chemistry, science and engineering.
