Sport Management

Program Description

Be a first-draft pick with a degree from Northampton in sport management. The 60/61 credit program gives a solid start for exciting careers in the sport industry. Students may consider consulting or entrepreneurial paths following the two-year program. Many go on to four-year institutions and pursue careers that include athletic training centers. Sports medicine and athletic training management are important fields where graduates are in great demand.

Outcomes of the program include the student's ability to communicate effectively, understand the disciplinary aspects of sport and physical activity and the fundamentals of the business and management of sport organizations.
