
Ron Heneghan, Associate Professor of Communication/Theatre
Ron Heneghan is an Associate Professor of Communications/Theatre. He received his M.F.A. from the Professional Actors Training Program at the University of Washington under Jack Clay. He taught Voice at Trinity Repertory Conservatory in Providence, as well as Acting, Voice and Movement at Northeastern University. He was an Artist-in-Residence for three years at PCPA Theatrefest in California. Theatres worked: Theatre Espresso, Lyric Stage Company and Huntington Theatre Company of Boston, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Empty Space Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Utah Shakespearean Festival, PCPA Theatrefest and 2nd Story Theatre in Warren, RI. He was seen in the summer of 2004 at The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. He is a member of SAG and AFTRA.

Julie "Jaye" Beetem, Associate Professor of Communication/Theatre
Jaye is the designer/T.D. for the NCC Theatre program and coordinates all events scheduled in the Lipkin Theatre. She also teaches Intro to Theatre, Technical Theatre, Stagecraft, Stage Production and Speech Communications. In addition to designing, Jaye has written and directed a collection of Theatre for Young Audiences and created a number of original production/performance presentations including NCC’s 2007 Showcase, A Collection of TIMEPieces.
For the last 16 years, Jaye has been the production designer for The Public Education Foundation of Evansville's Summer Musical Project: a national award winning effort that brings together exceptional high school students, adult volunteers and professional staff to produce a major musical. Recent productions include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, and Peter Pan.
Jaye holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Production from The University of Utah, an M.A. in Speech Communications from The University of Louisiana at Monroe and an M.F.A. from Wayne State University; where she was a member of prestigious Hilberry Repertory Theatre. Jaye is a member of both Equity and IATSE; as well as Endurance Theatre, a New York company focused on women and their work in the theatre. She designed lights for Endurance’s premiere production of JOAN, both in New York and for The Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. Other overseas ventures include Poland, Cyprus, and England with theatrical productions for a variety of other festivals.

Janice Marie Wolf, Assistant Professor of Communication/Theatre
Janice has been directing, producing, performing and teaching in the theatre for over 25 years. She has worked with multiple theatre groups in Florida, North Dakota, Michigan and Minnesota. Janice holds the M.F.A. degree in Directing, from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She also earned an M.A. in Theatre History and Criticism from North Dakota State University and a B.F.A. in Acting from Wright State University, Ohio.
Janice's personal vocation, as a teacher, academician and artist, is in exploring the use of archetype, symbolism and ritual in the theatre arts. She has developed both interdisciplinary classes and community workshops that personalize archetypal characters to give meaning to our classic mythic structures.
