A Note from the Dean
Welcome to the Allied Health and Science Division Website, where the biological, chemical, life sciences and allied health professions come alive. The spirit of inquiry is captured in individual courses, certificate and associate degree programs offered within our division and students experience high-quality educational programming, complemented by state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, both on campus and at clinical affiliate sites. NCC prides itself in the highly qualified faculty, whose student-centered approach to teaching and learning, provide a knowledge-rich and inviting educational environment.

The Allied Health Programs are fully accredited and aim to prepare graduates to pass licensure/certification exams and successfully enter their professional arena. Job placement rates, satisfaction with the program of study, and high pass rates on post-program examinations are among the positive program outcomes achieved by these programs. Curricula are skillfully designed to offer students the opportunity to be concurrently engaged in clinical practice while learning theoretical content in the classroom.
The Science Programs offered at NCC include:
The Science programs are designed as transfer programs, which prepare students to successfully transfer to a four year baccalaureate program in their discipline. Small class and lab size allows for personal attention and enhanced instruction. The state-of-the-art scientific instrumentation available to NCC students is second to none. In addition to program courses, the science department offers a full complement of courses to meet the science learning needs of students preparing for a variety of careers and academic majors.
