At Northampton Community College,

"Community Is Our Middle Name"

The Community Service Committee is a grassroots effort coordinated by faculty and staff to promote a culture of volunteerism among students, faculty, staff and alumni of Northampton. Our mission is to promote and facilitate involvement of NCC students, faculty, staff and alumni in projects to benefit their communities.

GET INVOLVED TODAY!

In 2003 NCC's CSI was a recipient of the Business Volunteer Council of the Lehigh Valley's "Spirit of Volunteerism Award". Through CSC students, faculty, staff and alumni of NCC have:

  • provided lunch to over 500 people at the Trinity Arc Soup Kitchen in Easton
  • adopted a Highway in Southside Bethlehem
  • donated 500 Holiday Hope Chests for local children
  • helped build homes through Habitat for Humanity
  • volunteered for United Way Days of Caring
  • and much more

In addition to CSC, NCC has numerous student clubs at the Main and Monroe campuses who volunteer their time and talents throughout the year in our community. Raising money for social causes, participating in walks/runs and conducting food, blanket, toy and clothing drives are just a few service opportunities coordinated by NCC student clubs.

Community Work Study positions are also available through the Financial Aid Office. Learn more...
