If you are an individual looking to volunteer or a group that wants to take on a community service project, there are a lot of opportunities in the area.  Debra Bohr has put together a list of community organizations that could use your help.  Check out the Service Learning page and get involved with something that interests you!

Attention to those eligible for work study: Are you aware you can do work study by helping at a nonprofit organization?  You could help your community and get paid $8.15 per hour!  The America Reads program needs tutors, for example.  Contact Sue Morgan, emorgan@northampton.edu, in the financial aid office for more information.
