This is Lisa Hughes's third summer teaching programs at NCC Horizons for Youth. Lisa is a 1981 graduate of the Medical Laboratory Technician Program, with an Associate degree in Applied Science from NCC. She also has her license from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), for the past 33 years. Lisa has worked in various hospital and doctor office labs including a supervisor role for more than 10 years. For the past 12 years, she has been a substitute teacher at the Lehigh and Career and Technical Institute in the Health Sciences and has also taught First Aid for the past 8 years in Summer Programs at LCTI.
Her years of experience both in the health care as well as teaching health sciences provides her with many different diverse experiences to help kids learn in a positive and FUN way!
