SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The following scholarships are available to students enrolled at NorthamptonCommunity College.

To be considered for a scholarship:

New students must have submitted their high school transcripts to the Admissions Office.
New and returning students must also submit the NCC Financial Aid Information Form and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 31.
A special scholarship information form is needed only for scholarships marked with an (*).

All forms are available at the Financial Aid Office.

All scholarships are based on financial need and academic achievement. Students are encouraged to review the list of scholarships for other eligibility criteria. The Financial Aid Office will consider all students who meet eligibility criteria.

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY
Students considering Science, Technology, Engineering or Math related majors should consider the full scholarship NCC SMaRT Scholar Program sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

Child Care Scholarship (*)	All	FT or PT	Lehigh Valley	Users of the College's Child Care Center.
Christian Fellowship Outreach Club Scholarship (*)	All	FT or PT	All	Must be member of Fellowship Club. Preference to students interested in ministry.
Coca-Cola Scholarship	All	FT or PT	All	Must have done 100 hours of Community Service. Students must apply to the Company directly, but submit proof of community service to the Scholarship Office for the nomination.
Martin Cohen Family Scholarship	All	FT	All	Culturally or educationally disadvantaged student.
Cook High School Scholarship	Dental Hygiene	FT	Lehigh Valley	Lehigh Valley high school graduate.
Deans Scholarship (*)	All Associate Degree Programs	FT	All	High school seniors in the top 30% of their class. Must complete the Deans Scholarship application available in high school guidance offices.
Dorene Distefano Scholarship	Dental Hygiene	FT or PT	All	Preference to residents of Northampton Area school district.
Ruth/ Roger Dunning Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Monroe County	Preference to residents of East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg school districts.
Early Childhood Scholarship (*)	Early Childhood Education	FT or PT	All	Users of the College's child care center will also be considered.
ESSA Foundation Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Monroe County High schools and Bangor/ Penn Argyl	Students attending Tannersville or Green Pond sites are eligible. Minimum GPA is 3.00 and scholarship can be awarded up to four years.

Kathryn J. Fournier Scholarship	Accounting	FT	Northampton County	Preference to Northampton County School District.
Eureyecko Family Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Lehigh Valley or Warren Co.

Freddie Theatre Awards	Theatre	FT	All	Winners of the Freddie Awards. Must have approval of program director.

Graber/Lucas American Legion Scholarship (*)	Health Related Field	FT or PT	Bethlehem Area	Children of American veterans who are graduates of Liberty, Freedom or Bethlehem Catholic High Schools.

Hannig Family Scholarship (*)	All	FT or PT	Monroe County	For assistance with child care expenses at the Monroe County Child Care Center.
Richard D. Herman Radiography	Radiography	FT	All	1) Second year student with highest GPA; 2) Second year student serving clinical at St. Luke's Hospital; 3) incoming freshman.

Kelly Kissiah Education Scholarship	Education	FT or PT	Northampton County
John Kopecek Scholarship (Childcare)	All	FT or PT	All	Student must have a child enrolled in an NCC Childcare Center.
Catherine Edelman Kratzer Scholarship	Nursing (Preferred)	FT or PT	Northampton County	Graduates of Nazareth High School.
Latin Alliance Scholarship	All	FT	Lehigh Valley	Incoming freshman Latino student with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
LV Dental Alliance Scholarship (*)	Dental Hygiene	FT or PT	Lehigh or Northampton Counties	Preference is given to adult students who overcame personal obstacles or are clients of Turning Point.
LV Dental Societies Scholarship	Dental Hygiene	FT	Lehigh Valley	Must seek employment in the Lehigh Valley after graduation.
Tim & Colleen Lewis Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Bethlehem School District	Preference to educationally or economically disadvantaged students

Andrea Luecke Memorial Scholarship	Business major	FT	All	Freshman student must be in top 20% of high school class. Renewal requires a minimum 3.0 GPA.
