SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The following scholarships are available to students enrolled at NorthamptonCommunity College.

To be considered for a scholarship:

New students must have submitted their high school transcripts to the Admissions Office.
New and returning students must also submit the NCC Financial Aid Information Form and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 31.
A special scholarship information form is needed only for scholarships marked with an (*).

All forms are available at the Financial Aid Office.

All scholarships are based on financial need and academic achievement. Students are encouraged to review the list of scholarships for other eligibility criteria. The Financial Aid Office will consider all students who meet eligibility criteria.

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY
Students considering Science, Technology, Engineering or Math related majors should consider the full scholarship NCC SMaRT Scholar Program sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

Barnette Scholarship	All	FT or PT	West Virginia or Liberty High School	Preference to West Virginia high school graduates.
Bethlehem Kiwanis Scholarship (*)	All	FT	Bethlehem Area	Two year scholarship for a learning disabled student.
David Bolasky Scholarship	Architecture	FT	Lehigh Valley	Second year student with the highest GPA who intends to continue studies after obtaining an Associate degree.
Karen & Tim Brady Scholarship	Veterinary Tech. or students who love animals	FT or PT	Northampton County	Confer with the Director of Vet Tech.
August J. Buzas Scholarship	Chemistry, Electronics, Comp. Info., Comp. Sci.	FT or PT	Northampton County
Caruso Family Memorial Scholarship	Entrepreneur-ship	FT or PT	All	Preference given to FT students or PT students with more than 6 credits per semester.
Child Care Scholarship (*)	All	FT or PT	Lehigh Valley	Users of the College's Child Care Center.
Christian Fellowship Outreach Club Scholarship (*)	All	FT or PT	All	Must be member of Fellowship Club. Preference to students interested in ministry.
Janet Christopher Scholarship	Math or Computer Science	FT or PT	Northampton or Monroe Counties	Returning adult female students preparing for re-entering the work force.
Laverne G. Clark Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Northampton County	Project Aware participant endorsed by Project Aware. Preference to residents of Easton.
Coca-Cola Scholarship	All	FT or PT	All	Must have done 100 hours of Community Service. Students must apply to the Company directly, but submit proof of community service to the Scholarship Office for the nomination.
Coddington Radiography Scholarship	Radiography For Reg. Radiologic Techs.	FT or PT	All	Must apply for employment at Easton Hospital.
Martin Cohen Family Scholarship	All	FT	All	Culturally or educationally disadvantaged student.
Community Service Scholarship	All	FT or PT	All	Must demonstrate outstanding community service.

Cook Family Scholarship	Dental Hygiene	FT	Lehigh Valley	Returning students who are residents of the Lehigh Valley.
Distance Learning Women's Scholarship	All	FT/PT	Wayne/Pike/ Monroe	Totally distance education courses. Preference is for a female student.
Dorene Distefano Scholarship	Dental Hygiene	FT or PT	All	Preference to residents of Northampton Area school district.
Ruth / Roger Dunning Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Monroe County	Preference to residents of East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg school districts.
Early Childhood Scholarship (*)	Early Childhood Education	FT or PT	All	Users of the College's child care center will also be considered.
Easton Hospital Nursing Scholarship (Endowment)	Registered Nursing (including Accelerated)	FT or PT	Northampton County	Must apply for employment at Easton Hospital.
Easton Hospital Sonography Scholarship	Diagnostic Medical Sonography Specialized Diploma	FT	All	Must apply for employment at Easton Hospital.
Easton Hospital Nursing Scholarship	Registered Nursing (including Accelerated)	FT	All	Must apply for employment at Easton Hospital.
ESSA Foundation Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Monroe County High schools and Bangor/ Penn Argyl	Students attending Tannersville or Green Pond sites are eligible. Minimum GPA is 3.00 and scholarship can be awarded up to four years.
David Feinberg Memorial Scholarship	Registered Nursing	FT or PT	All
Kathryn J. Fournier Scholarship	Accounting	FT	Northampton County	Preference to Northampton County School District.
Eureyecko Family Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Lehigh Valley or Warren Co.
William A. Foltz Scholarship	All	FT or PT	Lehigh Valley	New or returning students.
Carl Nelson Fretz Scholarship	Advertising Design	FT	All	Second year student. Needs the endorsement of the Program Director.
Funeral Service Education Scholarship	Funeral Service Education	FT or PT	All
Graber/Lucas American Legion Scholarship (*)	Health Related Field	FT or PT	Bethlehem Area	Children of American veterans who are graduates of Liberty, Freedom or Bethlehem Catholic High Schools.
