Northampton Community College (NCC) has been awarded reaffirmation of accreditation for its business program at the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Annual Conference in Salt Lake City on June 23.
This reaccreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes at NCC meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP. The ratification of accreditation by ACBSP covers a 10-year period at which time an institution must reaffirm its quality by preparing a self-study and having another site visit. During the accreditation period, business programs are required to maintain the high quality standards of ACBSP.
One of NCC's most popular programs, Business Administration provides a cost-effective springboard for transfer to a four-year institution in the fields of accounting, business, economics, finance, marketing, and business administration. The program ascribes to the O'Banion philosophy, which emphasizes collaborative learning activities, including group and hands-on projects to help prepare students for today's competitive business world.
