Five different groups of students, faculty and staff from Northampton Community College will travel to different countries this summer -- Turkey, Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica and China -- to learn about other cultures and to undertake service projects.

Greetings from Ecuador! Students spent yesterday making hula hoops. The finished hoops will be covered with fabric by local students at a textile school.

Outside of Otavalo, Ecuador on the way to Pimampiro! This group went to Ecuador to volunteer in small communities in the Andes Mountains, where they'll work with local children, families and the elderly.
