Nationally known adventurer and conservationist, Jonathan Waterman's presentation shows graphically and with first-hand knowledge the true extent of plastic pollution in the world's oceans. Over 72,000 pieces of plastic were counted in nets during his 2,500 mile journey. Waterman uses breathtaking photographs and video, shares stories about sea mammals and what it's like to go without seeing land for over a month. In an upbeat and positive fashion, he shows how we can work our way out of this crisis.

The film captures the passion of people engaged in a David and Goliath confrontation as they stand together, challenging a system that promotes profit over health.
