RESIDENT STUDENT INSURANCE - DOMESTIC PLAN
NCC requires that you have insurance - Domestic Students Residing on campus will automatically be enrolled in and billed for the Domestic Student Plan. Students with comparable coverage can request a waiver as outlined below.
Note: If you are an international student enrolled at NCC through a student visa, please visit the International page for your plan information. International students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the International Student Insurance Plan. This plan was designed for International Students and meets all the federal requirements.
Waiver is available - Students residing on campus may request a waiver of participation in their respective student insurance program if you have private insurance of a comparable nature. To request a waiver, please click WAIVE COVERAGE and follow the directions to complete the information requested on your private insurance. You will be entering a secure server to provide your insurance information and will receive a confirmation once your waiver has been received; please keep it for your records. Allow 14 days from the waiver deadline date for processing of your waiver. It is the student's responsibility to confirm that the waiver is reflected and charges are credited on the student tuition bill prior to check-in or no later than 2 weeks after the waiver deadline. Waivers will not be granted retroatively.
Your waiver will be good for the entire year. Only new students to the College or students newly entering the residence facilities in the spring will need to complete a waiver in the Spring. Waivers will be accepted as follows for each student type:

Please note that waivers cannot be accepted after these dates. You will be enrolled in the appropriate Student Insurance Plan if a waiver is not received by the noted dates and responsible for payment of your insurance charge. Students who are admitted to housing on or after the waiver deadline dates who wish to waive insurance coverage must contact the Bursar’s office to obtain the appropriate form for submission with their payment for room and board by the payment deadline.
Insurance cards are mailed to your mailing address on record. Resident students will receive their cards via U.S. mail through their campus mailbox.

Please note that dependents are eligible for coverage as long as the student is enrolled in the plan. To enroll your dependents please print and then complete the enrollment form and mail it with your payment as noted on the form.
