Instructional Technology
Located in Richardson 101, part of the Center for Teaching and Learning
The Northampton Community College Department of Instructional Technology functions to support on campus traditional classroom learning through the Center for Teaching and Learning as well as off campus learning through the Office of Online Learning. The Department of Instructional Technology focuses on the integration of technology-enabled solutions, including academic computing facilities, in teaching at NCC. Our staff has experience in helping faculty with instructional design and information technologies to enhance the learning experience of students.
We serve as a clearninghouse for information related to pedagogy and appropriate use of instructional technology by providing consultative services for faculty seeking to refine classroom teaching. We also provide training for faculty who wish to develop proficiency in the use of specific technologies. We support new technologies and disseminate information about teaching and learning with technology.
Our areas of expertise include instruction and curriculum, online learning, multimedia, project management, website design, integrated classroom technology and courseware management.
